Well, it’s officially ‘official’.  Though it has been for a while now, the ‘official’ press release recently went out from Beneteau announcing the news that we are now the Benteau dealer for the Chicago market and beyond.

May 6, 2016, Annapolis, Md. – Laurent Fabre, President of Beneteau America, unveils the expansion plan of Beneteau Sailboat distribution in the Midwest.

Sail Place Inc, the Beneteau Sailboat dealer in western Michigan, will represent Beneteau in the greater Chicago area in addition to other areas in the Midwest.

“Since 2002 we have been representing Beneteau in Michigan with a showroom and office in Muskegon,” said Dave Fullbright, owner of Sail Place. “Now, in addition to Chicago, we will represent Beneteau throughout Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Nebraska via our showroom and office in Kenosha.”

“We are excited to be able to announce the expansion of our dealer network throughout the Midwest and Great Lakes regions,” said Chris Doscher, sailboats sales manager for Beneteau America. “We look forward to working closely with these great partners and their expert teams to exceed customer expectations in every way.”
